Soulmate Poem: Paved with Infinite Soul

April 28th, 2010

Paved with Infinite Soul

I do not force forage on porridge too hot.
I do not need half the stuff that I got.
I do not always feed desires I see
I do not know which one of them’s me.

Inside I see things destructive and pure.
Besides all the things so painfully cured.
Before me are steps that run out of sight
To roar for ill justice that’s lost at first night.

Deep in addiction for a far flung home.
An ego restriction that’s tied to the bone.
I carry a cross that grows lighter than air.
The means thru love’s war ends in all’s fair.

Rich beyond measure, though pocket’s turned out.
Wanting of everything that the worlds about.
I breathe out long dreams for hard people you see.
To abate all the judgment not liked unto me.

I know complacent shadows lie under foot
And of infinite promises not keenly put.
Contentment is my prosperities lack.
As an island for brother’s I do offer my back.

Take my silent solutioning, pacing your chimes
And forgive my rare swift summoning rhymes.
I’m venturing down dealings run
Still puzzle piecing a forgotten tongue.

Oft times I ask ME should YOU choose else,
As personality triumphs over cast character spells.
I trust in faith with a universe heart,
To begin that game with a devilish start.

We know we have riders as we ride down the road.
Always in shuffle to reroute the whole load.
I’m a hare headed tortoise whose fluffed like a lamb
Thrice leo’d by star, moon and sun in the clam.

I hope that you trust me to tender with care,
The apexial thought, a gift so rare.
To its course and its future, a glass raised high
My soul be of rock so wet feet can stand dry.

Perhaps a flaw in the crack of the shell,
This all shiny isness I do know quite well.
Of this rare-refraction I can’t fix,
The solutions still out there lost in the mix.
